ThresholdDrain is suitable for use on balconies, general outdoor patios and entertainment areas. It allows the finished areas outside a building to be made level with the floor levels inside the building. This drainage solution dramatically reduces the risk of surface water transgressing the entrance threshold and collects runoff from doors and windows during storms. Its unique cantilever bracketing system is anchored between successive concrete pours beneath exposed slabs, tiles or pavers.
ThresholdDrain is intended to be installed adjacent to entrance doors and complies with the prescribed requirements of Clause E2 External Moisture of the New Zealand Building Code. The system can be adapted to different drainage trench widths.
