DuPont™ Tyvek® Metal is a "CodeMark™ Certified" breathable, self supporting, fire retardant, roof underlay consisting of DuPont™ Supro Synthetic Roof Underlay with an integrated drainage mat.
The drainage mat provides a separation layer between the roof cladding and the underlay.
This helps condensation drain out of the roof and aids drying of the roof assembly.
creates a separation between cladding and underlay assisting in preventing condensation on the underlay's underside.
DuPont™ Tyvek® Metal is self supporting (spans up to 1200mm), weather resistant and comes with a built in adhesive strip to facilitate sealing at overlaps.
DuPont™ Tyvek® Metal is absorbent and may also be used behind absorbent & non absorbent wall cladding's. DuPont™ Tyvek® Metal is compatible with roof pitches greater than 3º.
Is also suitable for use when retrofitting insulation in existing walls creating a drained space between cladding and insulation blanket.
