Hallmark Europa Fire Doors, for use as fire rated doorsets with a maximum achievable fire rating of up to 240min (Integrity) and a 60min Insulation rating where required. Manufactured with E-Core® solid vermiculite mineral core. Available as single or double doors, hinged or double action pivot.
Hallmark Europa Fire Doors are custom fabricated to the requirements of each project including door leaf sizes, Fire Resistance Rating (FRR), smoke seals, timber or steel door frame, customized door leaf facings, leaf edge options, vision panel, vision panel beading options, side lights, overpanels, ventilation grills and acoustic rating.
• Hallmark Doors have a durability beyond 15 years when correctly installed and maintained, based on historic use in-market for more than 30 years.
• Hallmark Europa Fire Doors, where glazed, contain glass that has been tested and meets the requirements of BS EN 12600:2002 and BS EN 1288 Glass in Building. Determination of the bending strength of glass.
• Hallmark Europa Fire Doors will satisfy the requirements of NZBC, B2 Durability under conditions of use, and Care of Product as detailed by Hallmark Group or otherwise specified within contractual guarantees.
• In accordance with NZBC C/AS2 clause 4.16 and Appendix C clause C6.1.1, Hallmark Europa Fire Doors comply with NZS 4520 and are tested to AS 1530.4. Fire doors are supplied with Product Labels/ID tags which comply with NZS 4520, on which the Fire Resistance Rating (FRR) and door set numbers are detailed. In accordance with NZS 4520, Hallmark Group maintains a register of door sets, and issues an installer’s declaration with each door set.
• Hallmark Europa doors to be fitted with smoke seals in accordance with NZBC C/AS2 clause 4.16.2 b) and Appendix C C6.1.2.
• If required, glazing to Hallmark Europa Fire Doors is in accordance with NZBC C/AS2 paragraph 4.2, uninsulated and insulated vision comply with NZS 4520.
• Hallmark Europa Fire Doors are to be self-latching, in accordance with NZS 4520. The selection of hardware to meet these requirements is not the responsibility of Hallmark Group but Hallmark Group makes available a list of commonly specified and approved hardware for use with its fire door set products.
• Hallmark Europa Fire Doors are to be self-closing in accordance with NZBC C/AS2 Appendix C, clause C6.1.4 and C6.1.5. If door is located on an escape route, a self-closing device to be installed and adjusted to meet maximum frictional forces requirements of NZBC C/AS2 Appendix C, clause 6.1.3. The selection of hardware to meet these requirements is not the responsibility of Hallmark Group but Hallmark Group makes available a list of commonly specified and approved hardware for use with its fire door set products.
• Doors subdividing escape routes, to be designed in accordance with NZBC C/AS2 clause 3.15, including door closers and latching, locking devices, direction of opening, degree of opening, vision panels, hold open devices, delayed action unlocking devices and panic fastenings. The selection of hardware to meet these requirements is not the responsibility of Hallmark Group but Hallmark Group makes available a list of commonly specified approved hardware for use with its fire door set products.
• Hallmark Europa Fire Doors can be used within as accessible route where design consideration is given to compliance to NZBC D1/AS1, paragraph 7.0.
• Doors to be installed with door handles that meet the requirements of NZBC D1/AS1 clause 7.0.5. The selection of hardware to meet these requirements is not the responsibility of Hallmark Group but Hallmark Group makes available a list of commonly specified approved hardware for use with its fire door set products.
• Hallmark Europa Fire Doors have not been tested for water ingress in exterior installations and we make no statement as to its suitability under NBCC E2 “External Moisture”. All exterior doors should be given as much shelter as permissible and be fitted with appropriate flashing systems.

Europa Fire Doors are designed for commercial and residential buildings, and their associated ancillary and outbuildings.
Maximum sizes are stated on the door data sheets. Door frames, Door leaf facing options, Design door vision panels, side lights and overpanels, Ventilation grilles, to be in accordance with options stated on the selected door data sheets.

For compliance fire signage to be installed in conjunction with fire doors in accordance with NZBC C/AS2, paragraph 3.16 and F8/AS1, paragraph 5.2.

Inspect products prior to installation to ensure they are free from defects.
Hallmark Fire Doors must be installed in accordance with Hallmark requirements. Refer to www.hallmarkgroup.co.nz/fire-door-installation. Opening to be prepared as per Hallmark Group Installation relating to correct configuration and wall system.
Appropriate packers and Backfilling required to ensure compliance, generally maximum 10mm thick.

Where doorstops are supplied loose (Timber Jamb System) do not fit until all perimeter seals and hardware is installed and operating. Set and fix door stop ensuring the door latches freely.
An installer’s declaration to be completed by the installer post installation and fitting of hardware and returned as confirmation of compliance with NZS 4520, prior to Hallmark Group supplying of Fire/ID tag labels.
Hallmark Fire Doors to be weekly inspected and maintained to ensure proper functionality.
Ensure closer and lockset correctly adjusted. Ensure Fire Doors are not held open by any mechanism or object that will prevent the door from closing or operating in the event of a fire.
All seals, hinges, closers, latch set and other hardware to be checked annually for proper fit and operation, and to ensure all screws and fixings remain tight.
Operational clearances should be checked annually to ensure no impairment to the Fire Door functionality.
Vision panels can be cleaned with a general glass cleaning solution. No abrasive materials or products should be used as these will cause damage to glass surfaces.
Fire Door surfaces, jambs, seals etc. should be regularly cleaned. No abrasive products should be used as these can cause damage to painted, stained/lacquered or finished surfaces.
