Essentially a roller blind with fire‑resistant fabric, a fire curtain deploys automatically in the event of a fire.
An electronic signal allows the curtain to unroll down side guides at a controlled rate until it meets the floor, creating a fire‑resistant barrier even in a power outage.
When fitted with an integrated smoke seal, the curtain also limits the passage of smoke, helping to maintain tenable conditions for longer and improving overall compartmentation performance.
The curtains are gravity fail‑safe, and individual curtains can be installed adjacent to one another to form a continuous bank of curtains.
