GMRTD4002 Polyurethane Rapid Directional Tactile Tiles - Designed to be very durable with a visible solid thermoplastic polyurethane. Engineered for accessibility to lead and guide the visually impaired to hazard / warning tactile.

GMRTD4002 Guidemaster Integrated Directional Tactile Ground Surface Indicator (TGSI) - A Heavy Duty Polyurethane Rapid Tile Directional / Leading tactile indicator, recommended for fast adhesive fixing on roading, civil works and foot paths.

Lead the vision impaired to Hazard / Warning Tactiles to warn as:

Life threatening hazards where serious falls may occur, such as at railway platforms, wharves, vehicular driveways and exits from car parks, etc., which intersect access paths
To indicate that a point of importance has been reached, such as the location of a bus sign or tram stop or the location of a change of direction on a pedestrian crossing island or as wayfinding to signify the location of a change of direction while traveling
At the top and bottom of stairways and ramps warning of a change in level.
At pedestrian crossings to indicate the path of travel

New Zealand Building Code (NZBC)

The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:

Designed to be very durable with a visible solid thermoplastic polyurethane. Engineered for accessibility to lead and guide the visually impaired to hazard / warning tactile.

Installation requirements

Surface Fixed with Butyl Backing and Adhesive for additional durablity in accordance to New Zealand Standards. Complete installation requirements will be provided upon request of Freedom Strategies clients.

Maintenance requirements

Regular Cleaning:

Remove dirt, debris, leaves, and other foreign materials from the tactile indicators regularly. Use a broom, brush, or a leaf blower to clear the surface.
Periodically wash the surface with water and mild detergent to remove stains and accumulated grime. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the polyurethane material.

Regular Maintenance Schedule:

Establish a regular maintenance schedule for tactile indicators, depending on the level of foot traffic and environmental conditions in the area. More heavily used areas may require more frequent inspections and maintenance.
