Osmo Woodwax Clear Extra Thin is a traditional, 2 coat, clear oil finish for tropical hardwood timbers such as teak, wenge, iroko, mahogany and kwila.
It can also be used as a one coat primer for oily and resinous timbers such as matai, totara, heart rimu and spotted gum. These timbers by their nature, contain resins and tanins which can cause drying issues for normal Polyx®-Oil. One or two thin coats of the faster drying Polyx®-Oil Rapid should be applied as a top coat.
