Product Description
Prolam Exposed Trusses are custom-designed visual grade glulam trusses, manufactured in New Zealand from Pinus radiata to AS/NZS 1328. Engineered for greater dimensional stability than solid timber, with reduced susceptibility to twisting and warping. Choose from 20 standard designs or work with Prolam's in-house structural engineers for a bespoke solution. FSC-certified timber options available.
Grade and Finishes
Visual (Appearance A) — machined, bandsawn, sanded and sealed, or pre-primed. Range of sizes and lengths available.
Treatment
H1.2 KD — interior only. H3.2 KD MCA — exterior and exposed. All to NZS 3640. H1.2 meets NZBC B2 50-year durability within the building envelope. H3.2 meets NZBC B2 durability for exterior above-ground use.
